Exciting News!

I just learned that “The Boreal Owl Murder” has been nominated for the annual Minnesota Book Awards! Finalists will be selected in early February, and the winners are announced in April. What a wonderful surprise, especially since I never aspired to any kind of recognition when I first began developing the concept of this Bob White Birder Murder Mystery series. All I wanted to do was write an entertaining book that captured the pleasure and fun of the birding life. Having readers that enjoy the series is the best reward of all! (Well, sure, being a finalist wouldn’t be too bad, either…)
