Bob White returns!
Bob White returns in his second Birder Murder Mystery adventure in “Murder on Warbler Weekend,” now available for pre-ordering (at a discount!) on Amazon.com or Barnes&Noble.com. I checked out the listings, and since it won’t be published till late August, there’s no photo of the cover yet (it’s almost done) or a description of the book. So here’s a sneak preview for you: Bob takes his mom birding for Mother’s Day to find warblers, but instead, they find (you guessed it!) a body. When Bob learns that the deceased is the mother of one of his students, he can’t keep himself from getting pulled into the murder investigation, which gets tangled up with local politics, an enthusiastic parent with a Bigmouth Bass hat, and gambling addictions. At the same time, Bob’s busy coaching the sophomore girls’ softball team, dealing with student dress code violations, and trying to find every warbler in migration.
